The Society for Educators offers a growing portfolio of competitive grants exclusively available to active paid members. These grants are designed to support innovative projects, professional development, and research that aligns with our mission of advancing education through equity, innovation, and professionalism.

Eligibility

To be eligible:

  • You must be a paid member of the Society for Educators (Individual or Student).
  • You must have held membership for at least three months prior to application.
  • You must be implementing the project within an educational or community learning context.
  • Grant proposals must align with the Society’s mission.

How to Apply

  2. Complete the Grant Application Form →
  3. Upload your proposal (max 3 pages) + budget + 2 references
  4. Await review by the Grants Committee (decisions in 4–6 weeks)

  • Focus on impact, feasibility, and sustainability
  • Be clear and concise with your budget breakdown
  • Show how the project aligns with equity and innovation in education

Member-Based Grants

Members in good standing are eligible to apply for:

  • Research support
  • Innovation in teaching grants
  • Travel bursaries for the Annual Meeting
  • Microgrants for community education projects
