We are excited to announce the first official issue of the Society for Educators, to be published by SustainE — a platform committed to accessible, inclusive, and impactful academic publishing.

Theme

Emerging Perspectives and Practices in Education

Exploring current needs, trends, challenges, and innovations across all areas of education.

This inaugural issue invites diverse voices and research across the educational spectrum — from early childhood to tertiary, from classroom innovations to national policy, from formal institutions to community-based models.

  • Inclusive and special needs education

Research methodologies in education

Who Can Submit?

  • Educators and researchers
  • Postgraduate students
  • Policy analysts and practitioners
  • Institutional partners and fellows

Both in-person and virtual participants are encouraged to submit.

Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts should be 2,500 – 5,000 words
  • Must be original, unpublished, and aligned with the conference theme
  • Include an abstract (max 250 words) and 3–5 keywords
  • Use APA 7th edition referencing style
  • Submit in Microsoft Word (doc/docx) format

All papers will undergo double-blind peer review coordinated by SfE and the editorial team.

Call for Papers – Special Issue

To be launched during the 2026 Annual Meeting & Conference on May 6-8, 2026

Theme: Reimagining Education: Advancing Equity, Innovation, and Professionalism in Education
Deadline of Submission:  February 15, 2026

The Society for Educators is pleased to announce a Call for Papers for a Special Issue to be published in conjunction with the Knowledge, Innovation & Justice in Education Research (KIJER) Journal (A university-based Journal). This special edition will spotlight cutting-edge research, transformative practices, and innovative ideas aligned with the conference theme and sub-themes, with a formal launch during the closing session of the event.

Submission Guidelines

  • All manuscripts must follow the KIJER journal submission template
  • Papers should be original, unpublished work and align with at least one conference sub-theme
  • Submissions will undergo adouble-blind peer review process
  • Deadline for submission: February 15, 2026
